Day 44

Now over 6 weeks old, the puppies are a real handful! They spend their days playing with each other, sleeping and eating ever increasing bowls of food.

Day 39

The puppies have now moved to their indoor run. They are now very aware of the goings on around them watching whatever is going on in the kitchen - which very often is more food being prepared!

Thanks to some unseasonably warm weather the puppies have been allowed outside to explore on the patio.

The litter are being reared in the house, and receiving the best possible care and attention. The first few weeks of their lives are precious and I will do everything that I can to prepare the puppies for their future lives. My priority is the health and welfare of the puppies. The puppies will be ready to go to their new homes when they are eight weeks old on 3rd February 2012.
All the puppies will be Kennel Club Registered ( please see endorsements information below) and have a full Five Generation Pedigree. Each puppy will be wormed, and leave with 4 weeks free insurance. A comprehensive puppy pack and contract will be provided, along with food and a puppy blanket with the smells of mum and the other siblings to help them settle into their new homes.
I am looking for caring family home for the puppies. You must be able to provide the love and attention that the puppies need and deserve to enable them to prosper. All prospective owners will be vetted. If you think that you can provide a suitable home then please get in touch. Sorry - the puppies are not available for export.

Mikki, like all my dogs, lives inside the house. She has a wonderful, caring, gentle temperament and loves the attention, and affection of people. Outside, in the park, she is a keen explorer and an enthusiastic play mate with other dogs.
Mikki has had a wonderful year in the show ring with the highlight of a class win at Crufts, where Mikki was placed first out of 18 dogs in Special Junior Bitch class! Click here to watch the video of Mikki at Crufts.
She has also achieved championship show class wins against strong national competition in the junior bitch class at the KSSLRC, and yearling class wins at Leeds, Richmond and the National Gundog Society.
In open shows Mikki has been awarded 'Best of Breed' on many occassions and has gone on to be awarded a gundog group place four times.

In order to encourage responsible breeding, the Kennel Club allow endorsements to be made to the puppies registrations. For the long term benefit of the Labrador breed I feel that it is vital that dogs used for breeding are health tested first. For this reason the puppies KC registrations will be endorsed 'Prodgeny Not Eligible for Registration' and 'Export Pedigree Not Allowed'. Full details of the scheme are available here. I will of course remove the endorsements in the future, subject to acceptable heath test results and breeding plans.
